Baked Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (leave whole or cut up)
1 whole head of garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried pepper flakes
2 lemons, halved for squeezing
Preparation:
Wash and dry the chicken inside and out.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, and peppers. Drizzle the lemon juice over the chicken, inside and out. Save the squeezed halves.
Rub the chicken with the oil/pepper/salt mixture, pt the halved lemons into the cavity. Place into roasting pan. Roast for an hour at 350 degrees or until the juices run clear.
