Chicken Mushroom Soup
Ingredients :
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cups water, or as needed
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 onion, chopped
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - diced
Preparation :
In a large saucepan, melt the butter. Add the soup, water and milk. Stir well over medium heat.
Add the onion, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
When the mixture starts to boil, add the chicken meat and simmer all together until chicken is cooked completely through.
Add the sliced mushrooms, boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring often. Serve hot.
