Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

Chicken Noodle Soup 2


Ingredients :

3 cups diced, cooked chicken meat
2 1/2 cups wide egg noodles
12 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon vegetable oil 
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup cornstarch

 

Preparation :

Bring a large pot of  water to a boil.

Add egg noodles and oil, boil until tender. Drain and rinse under cool running water.

In a large saucepan, combine broth, poultry seasoning and salt. Bring to a boil.

Stir in onion and celery then reduce heat, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until cornstarch is completely dissolved.

Slowly add to soup, stirring constantly. Stir in chicken and noodles, heat through.
